Amount: Low-income homeowners with disabilities may be eligible for up to $100,000 to carry out modifications to their home to improve accessibility and support independent living. Again, co-pay may be required depending on household income.
Modifications may include: The construction of wheelchair access ramps and the installation of grab bars in bathrooms. Creating better access to bathtubs, showers, and the kitchen. Modifications must be directly related to the disability of the homeowner or a family member residing in the unit.
