Aquassure Accessible Baths to Pitch Safer Bathing in the Dragons’ Den

Season 10 of Dragons’ Den is going to be a little bit more accessible when this Kelowna company gets their chance to pitch.

Aquassure Accessible Baths received confirmation yesterday that they have secured a spot to pitch to the Dragons on Dragons’ Den for Season 10. They have been invited to Toronto for filming in early May. They will be shipping one of their wheelchair accessible bathtubs to Toronto for the show.

“I admit I did a ‘happy dance’ in the showroom when I got the phone call,” says Shari McDowell, CFO of Aquassure Accessible Baths. “We think that we have some advantages since we are a scalable company with a product that looks good on camera.”

“The audition itself was a lot of fun, and we felt we had a great connection with the producers. The Juice did an interview with us while we were there. The entire process has been wonderful so far.”

“We are very excited to be chosen to pitch our accessible slide-in bathtub, the ADL Spa, and our company Aquassure Accessible Baths to the Dragons. We plan to raise capital for a National marketing budget. We designed a universal bath that works for people of all abilities, from children to wheelchair users, but few people know we exist,” says Matthew Longman, CEO of Aquassure and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and RMT.

“We are confident that we have a great pitch and that there will be investment interest in our company. We are looking for growth capital, not start-up funds. We already have everything in place: manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and marketing – we just need funds for advertising,” says Shari.ADL Slide-in Bath: Safety Plus
